Description

VB7 and VB75 Repair Kit
There several versions of the VB7 unloader bolts but they all have the same kit in them and operate in the same way, the kit are all replaced the same way as well.
As this
  • Clamp the body of the unloader valve in a vice
  • remove the adjuster knob and top completly, you should see the spring of the unloader and it top washer, remove these as well.
  • Using a spanner, remove the bolt on the to the bypass directly into the body this will be very stiff as it is locktighted in, the center of this is part of the repair kit and is the seat of the valve.
  • Place an M8 Extended socket (standards arn't long enought) into the bottom of the valve and a large screwdriver (not crosshead/phillips) into the top of the valve and unsrew, this is the biggest danger area of damaging the valve completely and then the only solution is a new valve.
  • The kit replaces the seals in here and the valve seat as mentioned before and the bolt bottom to the seat, the bit which looks like a nut with a ballbearing in
The valve is then put back together in reverse order with the new seals in, when completed you will need to set the valve to the correct pressure of the pressure washer with a Pressure Gauge.
